I received my B.A. in Studio Art from the College of Charleston (2009) and my M.F.A. from the University of South Carolina (2012). As an Adjunct Instructor, I currently teach in the School of Visual Art & Design at the University of South Carolina, as well as the Extended Campus of Limestone College in Columbia, South Carolina.

I love to teach students of all ages—while I mostly teach adults of all ages in an Academic setting, I am also an Art Instructor at a local Community Art Center in the NW Columbia area. At Art Smart Academy, I work with kids and teens in Homeschool Groups, after-school art clubs, and private lessons.

My work has been shown in various galleries in South Carolina, Virginia, & Minnesota, an exhibition at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C., and The State Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia. I have been passionate about art throughout my life, but for more than a decade, it also became a therapeutic tool to cope with an unexpected spinal cord injury that I sustained after a complicated surgical procedure for relieving scoliosis.
